I recently went to VA for the first time! It was beautiful (albeit cold for a SoCal gal)!

I was blown away by this piece at The Broad Museum. I could have sat there and taken it in for a very long while. It was captivating. And then this photo opportunity presented itself to me. We all are so wrapped up in ourselves. Even in the immediate presence of spectacular things, we always get pulled back inside. Too many thoughts. Too many worries. So many distractions. And this moment seems even more rare as neither of them are on their phones, yet equally somewhere else.
I find myself feeling less grounded lately. While being present minded and focused is excellent for deadlines and getting work done, sometimes it is fun to get lost in the clouds. This is what happens when you look up inside SF Moma. :D
I just love the textures and accidental beauty that occurs when things decay.
